It’s brilliant to see that anxiety’s profile is getting raised. I think there are a lot of people who don’t treat it as a serious issue which makes it worse for us.
I don;t suppose this’ll be shown in England though…guess I can have a look on YouTube after it’s aired.
That is a good point. Anxiety, with the exception of OCD, is mostly ignored in the media.
Hopefully it’s done well enough to make non-anxious people understand anxiety. Awareness means dollars, which means more research for treatments, etc.
Thanks for this post – I’ll look for the series & check it out. I hope they do a good job of portraying people with anxiety disorders, not as loony’s, but as people that you see every day & would never guess struggled with anxiety.
