  1. Anxiety just made me stuck in the corner of my room. When I get the chance to be treated, I accepted the opportunity because I never want to suffer from it again.

  2. Hi Paul thanks for your input it been helping a bit. To just get out and DO IT!!! It’s tough but I get through it:)

  3. Sylvia, I know you can!

Great advice. I found myself listening and reading materials on how to deal with my anxiety disorder but sometimes I find myself not applying what I learned on a consistent daily basis. Sometimes you can forget what you learned the next day when you wake up to apply it in your life and/or sometimes you can be mentally fatigued or “lazy” to do it. I learned to stay on top of my anxiety more often now and it has been very effective.

Dealing with an Anxiety Disorder is not easy Fear is an integral part of every person’s life and represents an important defense mechanism. Sometimes, however, an overwhelming fear becomes a disease, I found some good leads for coping at Suite101: Confusing Fear with Anxiety Disorder http://personalitymooddisorders.suite101.com/article.cfm/confusing-fear-with-anxiety-disorder#ixzz0pOTR4Jja

    hey just had a question
Is it possible to have a panic attack without the racing heart symptom?

Because i get racing thoughts, desire to “escape”, and trouble breathing, and i feel like adrenaline is released but i don’t get a racing heart.

I used to get a pounding heart when i first started having attacks years ago but not anymore. Maybe its because they are getting less severe? I think its weird that my heart is not racing but i still can’t breathe.

  7. Of course it’s possible! Remember, racing thoughts, a pounding heart, etc are all anxiety symptoms. Whether they happen together or alone, none of them are dangerous. But yes, it is possible to have racing thoughts and have a regular heart rate.

Even though it may feel like racing thoughts are harmful and dangerous, they really are not. As of right now, each day I am coming to that realization because I don’t get other anxiety symptoms (such as sweaty palms, heachaches) as much as I used to whenever I have the “racing thoughts effect” taking place. I just learned to not indulge in or feed those thoughts and it really works. It just takes practice and more practice which I am constantly doing each day! :)

Great input, i love to see things put in terms that make sence. when you read about these issues on must sites it seems so scary and it just makes you feel worse.

  10. What host will you be making use of? Your site masses fairly little by little for me.

  11. Hi Kate, thanks for the tip. I will see to that soon.
