    It’s amazing to me how many times others have told me this same thing, basically all my friends and family who I consider “normal” or just not anxious. They all say they have the same thoughts as me every once in a while, but they just forget about them and let them go. Ah, that would be so nice!

    Although I guess it’s nice to know that everyone does in fact have the thoughts, and that means we’re not crazy (as you always say.) We just hook onto those things because we’re afraid of anxiety/death/going crazy. Sometimes I feel like those anxious thoughts make me a bad person, but then I have to remember everyone would be a bad person using that logic.

    Extremely enlightening, Paul. This nuts and bolts stuff may be tough for some to follow, but understanding the inner workings makes us much more able to view our mind’s action without fear. Like Stephanie alluded to… easier said than done, but every little bit of understanding helps.
