Show Notes: Hypochondria 1. Hypochondria is a health phobia that makes its sufferers believe that they are ill in the absence of disease. It is marked by constant worry about health issues. a. This is an obsession that cannot be easily alleviated. Even a trip to the doctor is not enough to calm the nerves of a hypochondriac. b. A hypochondriac will usually focus on a part of the body or certain types of disease. An example would be an intense focus on the heart because of palpitations . c. This is a condition characterized by

Show Notes: Anxiety Guru News Desk: 1. According to an article in the American Chronicle depression and anxiety are not conditions but rather emotions that have gotten out of control. Talk about controversial. 2. Doctors are now experimenting with new forms of treatment for PTSD. Show Notes The Anxiety Guru News Desk 1. I reported a few weeks back about how actress Heather Locklear was admitted to an Arizona facility for anxiety and depression. Show Notes With anxiety disorders comes a loss of confidence. It is difficult for you to make decisions sometimes since you think one decision sounds great one minute and the very next second your on to something else totally different. You may think that because you have lost most or all of your confidence that you are a coward or defective. This of course is not the case at all. This may also lead to you challenging yourself to a test of "strength" and will. You go and do things that you may not be ready for - but when you do

Exactly why is unknown as I haven't been able to find any convincing answers, however, I will say because your anxiety
