  2. Anxiety Disorders: Serious action needed for relief.
  3. Anxiety Defined: Tension, fear, for a prolonged amount of time. Caused by heredity, a traumatic experience, chemical in balance.
  4. Fight or flight: Adrenaline.
    1. Conditions covered: General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, PTSD, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Agoraphobia.
    2. All Anxiety Disorders all related by stress, disturbing thoughts, possible depression.
    3. Symptoms and Causes. YouтАЩre not going crazy.
      1. Urgency
      2. Twitching muscles
      3. Heart concerns
      4. Tense, anxious, uneasy,
      5. Palpitations
      6. Racing thoughts
      7. Fatigue
      8. Fear of dying
      9. Rapid breathing
      10. Lump in your throat
      11. Head aches and dizziness
      12. Unbelievable long list of symptoms
  5. General Anxiety
  6. PTSD: Caused by a traumatic event such as child abuse, car accidents, war veterans. Root based in threat of force.
    1. Emotionally numb
    2. Loss of interest, irritable, similar to anxiety and depersonalization
  7. Panic Disorder
  8. Agoraphobia
  9. OCD is distressing thoughts or obsessions that lead to compulsions such as cleaning.
  10. Traditional methods of healing anxiety.
    1. Psychotherapy: Cognitive behavioral therapy.
    2. Drugs like Zoloft and other drugs like anti depressants.
  11. The Guru methods of healing.
    1. Even if you have had anxiety 10 years you can get better.
    2. Focus on natural methods: High tolerance to drugs can lead to relapse.
    3. Diet: i.e., Fish supplements Omega 3 Fatty acid found in fish and in pill form. The Harvard Research Laboratories have cited the benefits of fish oil for the brain- helps to balance chemicals in the brain: Reduced availability of neurotransmitters like Serotonin Dopamine, Nor-epinephrine, and other chemicals.
    4. Exercise: Regular exercise gives you energy (which you never have), helps to improve brain function, releases emotions, releases endorphins
    5. Positive thinking
    6. Meditation: Breathing and relaxation
    7. Support from your safe person
