In this episode of the Anxiety Guru Show I explore the connection between anxiety and depression. I also talk about what you can do to cope with both of them.

I thought it was important to talk about depression because many anxiety sufferers have to deal with it.

It can be really confusing and frustrating to be scared and sad at the same time, so I wanted to provide a short guide to help those feeling like there’s no hope for the future.

Anxiety and depression in some ways are joined at the hip. So that if you have problems with one, you’ll likely have problems with the other.

But given all that, you can still do a lot to heal both conditions. There is no reason to think that abnormal anxiety and depression will be with you forever.

The other thing is that if left untreated, depression can turn into a serious and even debilitating condition. But there is absolutely no reason to let things get to that point. So I hope this podcast helps you with your depression and gives you a good idea about how to cope with it.

In this episode I discuss:

— The relationship between anxiety and depression

— Treatment options for depression

— Daily activities that can relieve depression

— My personal struggle with depression

— And much more

Thanks for this one, Paul. People should listen to this one, even if they don’t need it right now. Best to be informed and capable of handling a bout if it ever comes up, and it sometimes does as a result of exhaustion for anxiety sufferers. Good work, as always!

Hi I hope to help this, the Prozac is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), or bulimia. This medicine may also be used to treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
